The wife and I are thinking of having a wine and mince pie evening with a few friends. I thought it would be good to have some Glühwein or some tried and tested winter warmer.
As a homebrewer I think it goes without saying that the base would most likely be wine with some additional spices. I, however, do have a winter memory of walking around York drinking a mulled cider. :grin:
My question is what are your favourate winter warmers and can you give a few pointers as to what quantites to add to my base wine?
