I did 20L of turbo cider back in July to which I added the juice of a dozen lemons and a couple of generous heaped teaspoons of tanin and half a kilo of extra sugar. It was also primed for a slight fizz.
It was pretty harsh two or three weeks after bottling but I just cracked one and it's mellowed out. The apple flavour is back and it's one of the best ciders I've drunk.
I will definatly be doing it again.
 
Sounds like I'd better get to work on greater quantities of TC so it lasts long enough to age once I have a 5 gallon fermenter free again :P
