Hi all, I'm new to home brewing and the forum. After a bit of fiddling and research I bought a snub nose fermentasaurus. At the present time I brew only kits. My question revolves around the presure you should ferment at, I normally aim for around 15 psi, but at this pressure the krausen can at times reach the spunding valve. I have one of the Kegland blow tie set ups, and I am afraid I may damage the pressure guage.

Should i keep the pressureat say 30psi to depress the krausen and gradually back it off to 15? I tend to brew mainly festival kits at around 22C in a brewfridge.

Any pointers would be fantastic, be as rough as you want, I've got a thick skin.

Cheers
