Hi im looking to make some driver friendly ginger beer from scratch.

Wot id like to do is bottle prime a number of glass coke bottles i have and then ferment out the rest in the fv.

Can any1 suggest a good recipe?

Also after ive boiled the ingredients, cooled and strained off any bits do i pitch the yeast prime the bottles and fill then add the sugar to the fermenter to let the rest ferment?

I could be wrong but if you want driver friendly stuff and you add sugar, then isn't the sugar going to convert to alcohol making it booze
