Going for AG#2 iv come up with this. Any thoughts or opinions on the recipe? Very dark beer hence the name.

Dark Matter

Original Gravity (OG): 1.056 (°P): 13.8
Final Gravity (FG): 1.014 (°P): 3.6
Alcohol (ABV): 5.50 %
Colour (SRM): 37.5 (EBC): 73.9
Bitterness (IBU): 30.2 (Average)

80% Maris Otter Malt
10% Amber Malt
10% Roasted Barley

1.5 g/L Fuggles (5.7% Alpha) @ 60 Minutes (Boil)
0.8 g/L East Kent Golding (4.7% Alpha) @ 20 Minutes (Boil)
0.8 g/L Fuggles (5.7% Alpha) @ 20 Minutes (Boil)

0.2 g/L Irish Moss @ 15 Minutes (Boil)

Single step Infusion at 68°C for 90 Minutes. Boil for 60 Minutes
Fermented at 20°C with WLP004 - Irish Ale

That is a lot of roasted barley - it might impart an astringency that could be a little too much.

You could steep the roasted barley for a shorter time, then add that to the boil later on - it might help reduce the astringency whilst keeping the colour.
