Hi

Thought this would be helpful if your wanting to create a Guinness clone Recipe, we did a behind the scenes tour of the Guinness Beer Factory at St James Gate :

We also put together a blog on this to provide guidance on brewing a Guinness Clone : Guinness Clone Recipe - Get Er Brewed Blog

We get asked alot how to clone this recipe so we are grateful to the team for taking the time to answer our questions and show us behind the scenes at Guinness. We did this to help the homebrew community and i was surprised at just how simple the recipe actually was

Best Regards

Jonathan

That is very interesting, Jonathan, as most of us on here would have said 70% Pale, 20% Flaked Barley and 10% Roast Barley for the malt bill.
Using European Noble hops sounds a bit of a surprise as well - I would use a high Alpha bittering hop and/or any old stuff out the freezer and US05.
