Quick introduction as requested.
I'm a hydraulics engineer and live on the Wirral, Merseyside, so I'm a Plastic Scouser!!
I'm a newbie to homebrewing so only just started. I made a cider couple years ago, bought a cheap £20 eBay brew kit and some bottles. Obliterated the neighbour's trees for apples, mix of eating, crab and cooking (juice is juice after all!). Managed 40L so not bad, homemade crusher and press (20 Tonne hydraulic works well!!)
To be honest, it turned out ok-ish. More of a scrumpy but did the job over Xmas and New Year.
Having another go this year, up to 75L already . . . .
Was given a load of Hamburg Grapes too at the weekend so having a go at a cheeky red too!
Thanks for the invite
