Hi, currently fermenting in a corny keg my first time using a keg.
Unfortunately, for the first 36 hours since pitching the gas disconnect which attached to the spunding valve was not correctly seated, resulting in massive pressure buildup, probably well in excess of 50psi, but not enough for the prv to discharge.
I've now vented this pressure (at the expense of about 2l of beer, and a big mess), and it's now happily spunding at 10psi.
My question is, is the yeast irreparably damaged to the point I should repitch? I don't want to open the keg if I can help it as I don't want to beer to see oxygen preferably.
Thanks

Pretty sure it will be fine, is it still venting occasionally through the spunding valve now? I did my first brew in a corny at over 20psi for the full week and it was fine. I personally think yeast is pretty resilient.
