London Pride

Anyone successfully made a london pride clone?

I did a Fuller's ESB clone that turned out very nice - one of the best yet. I plan to do a London Pride soon

I think it's just Simpsons pale and crystal if I remember right with northern challenger and goldings

There's a recipe in Graham Wheeler's book 'Brew Your Own British Real Ale', if you can get hold of a copy. Try your local library. Lots of other stuff in there although its a bit dated.

Dave Line had a recipe for London Pride in his book. That's the brew I did most 30 years ago. It was very nice.:drink:

This matches what I was told when I went to the brewery. They partigyle their beers and many come from the same grain bill but with different strengths and hops.

I'd skip the Pride and go straight for ESB personally!

or culture the yeast up from a bottle of 1845 or bengal lancer. I defiantely agree the yeast is the key.
