Hi all
never done home brew before. got myself a little kit and mixed my 1st wine 6 bottles up last night. Wilko Cabernet Sauvignon.
what is a good lager home brew. above 4 % vol. cheap. just to try out

Hi Pablo,

Welcome to the forum :drink:

You'll need more/bigger kit to make the jump from 6-bottle wine kits to 40 pint beer kits. If you don't have any of this kit, might be an idea to buy an all inclusive kit (kit plus gear) to get you started.

If you do have the kit, Wilkos Pilsner at about ~£8 seems to be a good buy.

Hi
Yes I also got the larger kit with it, big bucket aswell as a large wide neck vat with handles on. I will try wilkos out, although not a fan of pills

Thank all
Off to Wilkos it is then, hopefully have done good juice for Xmas

That's the one am after reviews look great, someone said its not strong lager, but if I add more sugar will it make it stronger? Is that how it works ?

Well you don't hang about do ya...lol

Now it's in the tub it's time to chill for two weeks, don't rush it.
