I've been given one of these bottles (on the floor)

unfortunately no cap, could it be of any use? Anyone know if there are bungs you can get to fit em? Any advice very welcome thanks, think its 16.5 litres capacity. Am hoping it could be useful for something, as I might be able to get my hands on more. Thanks for any help. James
 
a friend of mine ferments his wine in them get one with a cap and drill a small hole slightly smaller than a airlock in the cap then push the airlock in it gives a nice tight fit . the caps just pull off and push back on ;)
 
Mine is full of Wurzel at the mo 18.9lts and the other is full of TC 18.5lts.18.9lts is an American 5 gallons I was told,not that it matters a jott when its full of Wurzel. :cheers:
 
They make great fermenters, I have one too.
You will be able to get a suitable bung to take an airlock for it at the LHBS or on-line.
