I'm loving my own made cider but I'm getting a little old for the clandestine scurrying around involved in blagging apples, got some verbal off a dog walker this year for taking the birds food. Also found access to some regular trees blocked over the years. Time to go legit. Has anyone planted cider trees. I'm gonna have a clear out of my little garden and could fit a couple in but looking for advice and experience on which variety and rootstock.

I don't do proper from apples cider but it seems that you need "a lot"!

I would carry on scrumping. Bird food. What a load of bolleaux more likely rats
