@Lancs road police -
Van being driven M6 at Preston and taken to check site for examination. Unsurprisingly numerous defects were found with the mechanical integrity and it was also found to be more than 20% over weight on front axle and gross. Driver reported for several offences PG9

Who remembers when Little Chef were all over the place -

They were better known as “Little Theif” because of their prices.

Old Mike Read joke: I went in a Little Chef last week and picked up a ham roll, bag of crisps and a can of Pepsi. I said to the bloke at the counter, sorry mate, I’ve only got a fifty pound note, he said well you better put the crisps back then.
