Hello all,

Last summer I brewed my first beer just using a basic beer kit and it worked out alright, nothing special but nothing bad…so I was happy!

Having moved into my own place blah blah blah I am now ready to begin brewing more regularly. I'm hoping to brew a fairly simple recipe which results in a low-ish ABV I can happily drink after work/with dinner/etc and still get on with work in the evening!

Thanks for any help, all suggestions are more than welcome!

P.S. Ideas so far seem to centre around an IPA...

It's hard to say without knowing what you plan on doing, what equipment you have etc. You say "recipe" but refer to having done a kit - are you looking for kit suggestions, kits with tweaks, extract brewing or all grain?

If it's all grain (or even extract) you plan on doing, have a look at the Greg Hughes book (Hone Brew Beer). It has lots of more-or-less base recipes for just about every popular style of beer. It's a very good starting point.
