Bet it's an Imperial Stout and I doubt they used US-05.

Tony the main stash was champagne and was worth a fourtune hence the salvage operation until they found beer underneath the champagne. Then they had a even bigger stash!

a Baltic Sea shipwreck dated between 1800 to 1830

The ship was believed to be making a journey between Copenhagen in Denmark and St Petersburg, then the capital of Russia.

If it was Danish beer then, Wikipedia has it too early for lager, so could it be Hvidtøl? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_in_Denmark)
