Social libertarian- hmm. To be fair I was brought up socialist by left family, but I’m a true believer in that free market capitalism is the only system that can take you from being poor into being wealthy. I love the works of Ayn rand and believe that thatcher was the greatest prime minister the UK has ever had. Look up “who is John Galt?” And therin is the answer. 😉

I do think that Thatcher and Regan especially learned a lot from Rand and Hayek..
I can’t honestly answer about section 28 but she wasn’t one for discrimination- it was all down to people being individuals at the end of the day. No religion, no slaves to others she especially hated racism, bare in mind in her day there was plenty of open racism.
Thatcher believed in the free market at the end of the day and opened up the UK big time. Maybe not as laissez faire as rand believed in, but it was a good start.

I took the same test a couple months ago and came out about the same. I have no problem with zero regulations (deregulation) IF the people with the factories or what have you monitored themselves. They do not.

I was wondering if it was to elicit a response about anti-intellectualism.
You see, that's another angle you could take. It sort of makes the corresponding 'you are therefore an 'x' on this scale' even more meaningless, as there is no guarantee that you and I are even answering the question the setter of the quiz intended.
