I used 100g H-blance, 100g wai-iti and 40g Waimea

Interesting, the one time I used waimea I was quite underwhelmed. Hblanc is good but mild, never tried wai-iti before.

Well give it 2 weeks maybe you have COVID.

Trying a bottle of my Porter now. It’s been all dark beers so far, maybe something lighter next.

A couple of pints of Guinness at lunch time inspired me to have one of my own tonight. Had it with Australian blue cheese not within a bulls roar of Stilton.

A Kaiser to start with.
I haven't had one of these for decades.
Clean, but not as special as I had thought it when younger.

Now on the Punk IPA.
I had to look it up, but they say there are 14 hop portions added at different stages of its production.
It certainly is full of hoppy qualities.

Meanwhile with me, more Punk IPAs were consumed as there are few other choices.
It could be 2, it could be 3.
Mere numbers become meaningless after a while.

Started tonight with a pilsner from @Leon103 . Tasty lager with a subtle grape flavour..turns out it was hopped with Hallertau Blanc

Followed it up with my American pale -Amarillo , Cascade and Citra

So the last of an overcarbonated 4 pack of a supermarket session special, then one of the best non impy stouts I've had....

Followed by putty 2023.

Which...... well things have moved on since it first came out and £8+ for a can whilst it is still a very good beer isn't THAT good.

Fancied a Guinness West Indies porter, good stuff.
It's put me in a dark beer mood so I've opened a Bristol Beer Factory smoked porter which is equally good.
Haven't had that style before and the smoke is subtle but adds something interesting. Craving some mature cheddar to go with it
