Hi I have a demijohn of wine on the go from a kit. It seems to be bubbling very vigorously to the point where my airlock is filling with yeast froth. Should I be doing anything with it or is it best to leave it?

You can clean the airlock until it dies down but you must sanitise it before replacing, standing it in a mug of boiling water for a few seconds making sure the bottom of the bung is covered in water will do the job.
If you use a DJ again only fill to the level below then you can top up with water after a few days when fermentation has died down.
