Last one for the night as I'm back at the workhouse tomorrow morning. A Clan Brewing Golden Ale aged in Highland whisky casks. Very smooth and easy drinking for an 8% beer and the whisky casks have given it a lovely sherry hint which works wonders with the honey malt flavours from the golden ale.
Feeling a bit sad and sorry for myself tonight so having a large vodka because I can.

Russian roulette tonight. Found some beers with no label's on them. Lucky first shot, a Brett Belgian pale

This a bitter I brewed back in September, won’t clear it tastes ok not the best and I will need the keg soon so it’s getting drunk

Yes, just unplug one from your tap and plug in another. Flush through to get the new beer (you lose a 1/4 pint of the old one - unless you want a blend!).
Interesting...wonder how many cornies I could live with?
