Spring is here and it's time for the April competition - lager/kolsch/pseudo lager including both European and American styles. Some of you have sent me lagers before which have been great, so I know there are some good ones out there.

As usual, PM me for address details. Currently I'm looking at 2nd weekend in May for judging.

Bumping this to see if anyone else wants to get involved.

There's a £10 Beers of Europe voucher in it for the winner.

Can you pm your address.

I have a Vienna lager that been conditioning a while and I don't drink lager that often so it would be good to get an honest opinion

I’ve got a pseudo lager that I think is disgusting but my wife thinks I’m overreacting and says it’s alright. I know it won’t win but I might enter just to see. I’ve not decided yet though.

@Leon103 I will PM you.

@MickDundee I'm very happy to give constructive criticism.

The judging will be May 11th, I have a few friends coming round with varying degrees of beer knowledge who can help me out. I find it equally interesting hearing the opinion of those with a developed palate who know what to look out for in certain styles, to those who only know whether it's 'nice or not'.

I might have something to enter, I'll have a look tonight. You still at the same address?

Now here's the thing. I've got a Kolsch yeast pseudo lager based on a modified 1920's Barkley Perkins recipe that, when it's good, I'm happy with. However, some of the bottles are gushers and taste pants. Do I risk it or not?

I have a lager that should be ready by the 2nd weekend in may. Can you PM me your address please and I'll get a couple of bottles sent over.

My kolsch is a bit past its best so not worth entering but I may have something else...
If so I'll get it posted tomorrow.

Hi I brewed my first Kolsch at the end of February never had anything judged and may be a little late to get it to you depending on location could you possibly DM me address.

Cheers Jm

Hello, not done this before but have a Kolsch that should be ready - is there still time? I could put a bottle in the post Monday.
