Steve the Weissbier I your last post... do you "rate" this as a go to/standard?
I reckon it's a pretty solid weisse. I'd maybe like a touch more clove personally, but it's light, refreshing, and rather good for the price.

The reason I ask is that although I really like a Weissbier I don't brew them often but mine seem to compare very favourable with this....

Boon and a mahooosive! steak happy Father's day

When are you back in Derry. Your more than welcome to a few. I have some of my own ready if you fancy a swap👍👍
Generous offer and I will take you up on it
I don’t really bottle much at the min as it goes into the keg but I can do a few walled city brewery style and do them “tap fresh” ive a stout (8.5%) a slightly burnt rye beer(7.5%) -lets call it smoked rye and a patersbier 4.5%. Ive a Belgian blonde ready to keg as well.

Sounds good I have a imperial stout, American amber and a Simcoe+mosiac IPA.

I’m trying a lager I brewed from a kit two years ago so I’d have something for the lager drinkers. It took a long time to come good (why I still have some!) but it’s actually not bad now and I’d say it’s as good as most lagers I’ve tried. It was a Beerworks kit called “Southern Gold Digger” and if you don’t mind waiting two years, I’d probably recommend it.

Another dissappointing waitrose beer.
Wish I'd checked the BB date before putting it in my trolley.
Shame as it may have been decent 9 months ago when it was fresh.
The best bit about it is the embossed pattern in the can - never seen that before :laugh8:
