Wiper and true is particularly nice, actually all of those look good.
Time for my advent beer, a Helles lager. I’m slowly starting to understand lagers I think - but still at the start of my journey!

Carling, Coors, Fosters etc. have a lot to answer for. I can‘t remember the name of the beer but was in Berlin a few years back and it was a case of oh, largers can actually be more than bland alcoholic malt based beverages.

Hmmmm, had that once and wasn't particularly impressed..nice enough. Is Adnams Broadside classed as an old ale? That has more flavour.
I'm quite fancying doing a Summer Breeze.
Not sure I have because I haven’t liked lagers so even now avoid the lager isle. I keep almost buying something but after a moment’s hesitation I move on
The lager isle...is that one of the Canaries?
