Hi,
I have had a look on the other beer engine threads but can’t find the answer.
I have purchased a used Angram CQ beer engine for the princely sum of £50. Works and pulls fine, just needs a good clean.
Would anyone be able to please tell me which fitting I need to connect to the bottom of the cylinder? I have attached some photos.
I would then like to run either some 1/2” or 3/8 beer line to a polypin initially. If I use a polypin would I still need a check or demand valve?
My thoughts are that I could turn off the tap on the polypin when not in use?
I’ve been looking at that malt Miller polypin: Bag in a Box 20 Ltr (Polypin) | The Malt Miller
The idea would be to condition in the polypin.
ideally in future I’d then like to get a low pressure reg and demand valve so that I can run off my corny kegs. But I want to get it set up of a polypin initially before I spend loads more.
thanks
