I am now 3 months in to home brewing and have been pretty happy so far with my efforts.

One thing that seems to happen consistently to my beer is chill haze. Every batch I have brewed has this issue. The beer is crystal clear at room temperature, but put it in the fridge and it goes cloudy. It tastes fine, but people comment on the look. Is there a reason I might be getting this in every batch (eg my water or something?) Is there anything I can do about it?

Second question concerns minikegs. I like these a lot and will continue using them. Does anyone know if there is some sort of jacket or something that can be used to chill them? They are a bit big to fit into the fridge sometimes. I might just buy a cooler box or something.

Finally I want to try liquid yeast. Do people normally order this only with an ice pack or is this overkill assuming the yeast will only be in transit for 24 hours.

Cheers.

There are mini keg chillers like this one, but there are different types and you need to check keg compatibility. They come up cheap on ebay.

Not sure why you are always getting chill haze, especially in kit beers. One possible remedy is Clarityferm, and enzyme you can buy, the Maltmiller and the Homebrewcompany both sell it. It has the side effect of reducing the gluten in the beer to very low levels, but is primarily intended to improve clarity and reduce chill haze. Here is a quick guide to avoiding chill haze...

I have dry hopped a couple of times, but not every time. The only thing that is consistent as far as I can tell throughout the brews is the tap water.
