Has anyone ever sent their home-brew off to these companies offering "professionalâ calculation of the ABV? I have no knowledge of this but note from a few American forums that the average professionally calculated ABV's usually come back up to 2/3 degrees lower than the home-brew calculations if true does anyone know why this is so?
