I'm hoping to make cider with a very similar recipe this week, so will keep an eye on this thread to see how yours turns out :)

Racked to secondary last night as fermentation had stopped.
FG 0.095 though tasting very sweet.Topped up with 1/2 litre of AJ and has already restarted fermentation.
Removed the yeast slurry which was very pink in colour to 2 small jars, cleaned demijohn and filled with 4 1/2 litres of Tesco AJ with pectolase, yeast nutrient and some of the CML Turbo Cider slurry and this had kicked of within an hour.
On checking this morning I came down to an airlock slightly full if krauzen.

Never fill above the start of the shoulder and you should never have an airlock full of TC or wine. :thumba:

Found that out but ironic that the first three were all around the same mark but difference being I used the slurry from the racked demijohn beside it.

@Gerryjo That colour looks phenomenal. Think I might give this a go for the cider loving wife. Think you'd be able to share an idiot proof step by step for me?
