Get a lid on the bucket to keep out any "nasties".
If you have CO2 you could flood the headspace to protect the cider, but the safest way is to get it into bottles mucho quicko.
Thanks for the adviceI usually rack my beers off into another FV with lid after 10 days or so when the fermentation has almost died, . They then usually get another 6 days before packaging. I haven't noticed any adverse effects on the beer by doing this. So my advice is if you feel the need to package tonight fine, but another day or so if its more convenient won't do it any harm, provided its covered. And if you haven't got a lid for your bottling bucket cling film is fine.
