Cut straight to the chase... Made a brew, went to chill it and my CFC is not outputting any wort. Backflushed with co2 which bubbled up in the boiling wort, but still nothing coming out to the fermenter. Pump works (tested by firing all over the shop) so I know it's the CFC.
Anyway. My freshly brewed prize experiment is sat in my GF in my shed having not been run through CFC to the Ferm bucket.
I know many people do no chill brews but has anyone had to resort to leaving the boiled wort in the grainfather overnight!?
Only saving grace I suppose is the temperature is veeeeery cold up in Sheffield. Fingers crossed it chills quick.
I put in a fair amount of 10, 0 min hop additons and fear it will end up a mouth turning bitter bomb.
Anyone else suffered the same fate with the GF CFC? Any solution?
