Thanks PeeBee you have probably confirmed what I had worked out that even a slight bit of Co2 in the beer has come out with the movement to a slightly warmer clime. I have removed the excess by venting it hopefully there will still be enough in it so that it is not totally flat on the next pull Saturday night.
I will try the heavy book next time athumb..
 
Update I vented the bag and it stayed collapsed until I was able to drink the rest at the weekend so thanks all as it was just the co2 that had come out of suspension after filling the bag so it worked very well.
I have learned that after disconnecting the bag to put the tap adaptor in a jug of water and flush the remaining beer through then remove the tap from the jug of water and proceed to flush as much of the water out of the system so as to minimise beer loss.
Worked a treat and hardly any loss as it is a 1/4 pint pump
