Hi,
I decided to use these finings on my last two brews just to help clear before bottling.
Followed the instructions to a tee but I find that although it does clump up everything it's suppose to these clumps don't drop but kind of just stay there in suspension and of course when I then bottle they get sucked into the bottles.
Anyone tried with more success or any thoughts about clearing beer before bottling it up ??
Thanks,
Stroll. :thumb:

imho Dont bother with finnings unless your serving from casks which get moved about a lot.

if you can chill the brew before bottling it should drop out more sediment, some will transfer into a secondary FV or brite tank to settle out more sediment for a week or so prior to bottling, others will just leave it in the primary fv a little longer for the same effect without the added risk of another transfer.

patience is the hardest brewskill to acquire ;)
