how long can i leave my wherry in the FV

Hi all

got an unexpected call for surgery for 22.12.11, had got wherry in the fv but no time to do anything about it. Still not fully fit and its just sat there.

How long can it stand for, will it still be okay to keg in a couple of weeks or is it drain fodder after all this time.

On the road to recovery but not quite there yet! and its keeping me off of my motorbike!

If it has just been left alone with the lid on until now, then at 3-4 weeks it should still be ok.

However, it probably needs kegging or bottling now ASAP.

If you can't manage that at the moment, where are you? There may be some other forum member who would be willing to lend a hand.

looks like I'll have to let the other half dabble after all then. I've been very reluctant to do this as I know just how well I prepare and steralise everything. Guess I'll have to supervise him tomorrow.

I hope he doesn't take to it as I enjoy doing the brewing and he enjoy's the majority of supping.
