Hi all. I am planning on brewing a Czech Pilsner from a GW recipe in Brew classic European beers at home.
The recipe says the wort should be simmered for 150 minutes. Is this really necessary? Far be it for me to question the great man but I'm not sure if I have the patience.
I would welcome your thoughts and suggestions as I have not brewed many lagers.
