Mash Tun Filter

Hi all,

when making a mash tun filter out of copper tubing, which is best to use, 15mm or 22mm tubing.

15mm is enough and you don't want too fast a run off flow anyway , plus it's also easier to work with

15mm works fine for me, I think the key is lots of slits. When I first made mine I put slits about 9 or 10 mm apart, following advice from the good people on here I put another 3 slots inbetween each pair - so only 1 or 2 mm between slots.
