Any one else into it? I've sold the road bike and bought a mountain bike from the father in laws bike shop (family discount and all) after borrowing one from him and loving it!

Since moving to Wolverhampton, Cannock Chase has become a lot more convenient :)

I remember Wez was into it at one time!

I rode a lot for many years. Don't have the time any more. Still got an Orange P7 tho. :thumb:

I ride a ghost SE5000 with a few upgrades, Mostly I ride around Landegla has some brilliant black sections and not to far from you just a bit of drive.

Quick tip get some shin protection, I can't count the amount of times I have had the pedal spikes go into my legs.

hi folks, ime new here to this forum, first time brewing, but my main hobby is mountain biking, do a lot of it, only do downhill myself, travel about a bit for riding, living in cumbria i have plenty of places on my doorstep, but enjoy going north of the border as much as i can also ! currently riding a norco shore, its a few years old but she still strong, and spec is ok,

Not any more but used to be mad on it . 1987 Muddy Fox ,88 Overburys Pioneer , then Marin Pine Mountain tricked out with suntour xc pro (circa 92)...stolen , then Canondale Beast of the East with suntour xc pro....stolen .Lived in bristol which was mountain bike heaven with the Avon Gorge just down the river , rode every day before work , but it was also bike theft hell , had so many bikes stolen its not worth listing them all .

A bunch of us used to meet at my house right by the river and ride Leigh Woods , we made up a workshop in the basement and it was great . I really loved it but cant make my body do it anymore .Bought a Canondale m700 from the mid 90s with XTR on a few years ago , in wishful thinking mode , but couldnt ride it .Still have it and a GT Zaskar with judy SLs, cook bros and XTR and cant make myself part with them ....that would mean finally admitting to myself that my disabilities are final , and I cant face that yet . :( still , gotta laugh ,doctors said I wouldnt walk and they were wrong  ;)

Love to hear about other people still enjoying it though :thumb:
