I have just made wort from a watermelon brewing kit. I hope that is the correct term!!

I took a picture of the OG, what is the value that I need to record (day 1)??
Is this 1.4.. 1.04??

Appreciate any assistance..

1.044 provided that it was floating freely- it looks a bit funny leaning up against the side?

Most read from the bottom of the miniscus

In the above example, 22.5 translates to 1.0225

There are a couple of figures.. which do I use??

Can't see the reading , but given the above advice you should see a reading between 00 and 15 which will equate to 1.000 - 1.015

Looks like ~ 1.045 to me
