Being new to this whole thing, and being low on space, I was wondering if anyone has any space saving ideas they've found useful? I've managed to make space for 2 5 gal FVs and 4 DJs. Trouble is, with lead times, I'm finding that demand is far outstripping supply.

Wilkos were selling 25 lire food grade Jerry Cans pretty cheap a year or so ago, which I use for wine and cider primaries in a narrow space. I drilled the vent and added a grommet for an air lock. When fermentation is over, I turn the fermenter through 90 degrees and the tap makes it easy to drain into demijohns for maturing.

what a good idea,
they would also be good for no chill as well i pressume.. :wha:

i was in wilcos today getting, an edme stout, great drink if short brewed with demerara sugar...
