Hi guys.

I've just tasted my raspberry and mango cider kit for the first time and it's really nice, mega chuffed with my first cider brew [emoji1] .

However I just wondered what you guys recommend for secondary fermentation? I followed the instructions and added the exact amount of sugar and left it in a room at approximately 18 degrees C for a week and I've got a nice mild fizz.

Would it make it have more fizz if I A: added more sugar. B: increase the temperature of the room the brew is secondary fermenting in C: Leave the brew to secondary ferment for longer.

Thanks for any help.

A. Yes, the more you add the fizzier it gets. Be careful!
B. No, it would speed things up a little.
C. There is a CO2 saturation point in there, but priming calculations factor that in.

how much sugar per 500ml bottle did the kit recommend for priming ?

ps A. yes 😃
