You pop into the local Co-op near your caravan holiday home (Pitlochry) and are greeted with this.

They have the Williams Bros, Fallen Brewing, the works, all £1.75 or £1.99
I know,i know its not a homebrew but when swmbo says lets go shopping, it eases the pain a bit

Wow, when did Co-op start selling so many beers!?

When I last went to my local Co-op for beer, the choice was pretty awful.

Wow, when did Co-op start selling so many beers!?

When I last went to my local Co-op for beer, the choice was pretty awful.

When last I was at the Co-op (last year) there were two beer buyers. One was mainly working on the big accounts and the other on sourcing from much smaller breweries. The product from the smaller breweries is, to some extent, listed on a regional basis.

This is a fairly recent initiative on the scale pictured and reflects how much effort has gone into developing their range across the board.

Not all co-op branches are like this mind!
The Pitlochry one has just had a refit and to be honest, I couldn't fit them all in the pic.
Let's just say that bye the time swmbo had filled a trolley of shopping,I was still standing there :thumb:

haha. I've never thought about that till making beer. hate any light on beer especially the FV.
