Hello,
I've started to use servomyces tablets to give the yeast a bit of help as I like to brew DIPA's which are typically OG 1070+. Prior to using servomyces I would rehydrate dry yeast, usually US05 or M44 then pitch, and within a few hours i'd get active fermentation lasting about a week, bubbles in the airlock every minute or so, more frequently at the beginning. One of the claims servomyces makes is a faster fermentation. I find that within a couple of hours post pitch the airlock goes absolutely crazy, almost a constant stream of bubbles without a pause for a couple of days then it slows down dramatically. I haven't tried the beer yet it's still in the FV. Is this normal behaviour from using Servomyces ? I wonder if anyone has used it here.
