This Belgian single has conditioned really nicely after 6 weeks.
It's lost a certain funkiness from the yeast I was picking up initially, now more as I was expecting from the style.
Extra pale MO and Vienna malts, bittered with Tettnang and late addition/hopstand with Styrian Goldings.

And SWMBO'D is currently preparing Trout with almonds and a butter sauce, which hopefully will be a good match.

A good old Bass. Cheap and I like the bottle. The beer is OK and at least gives a glimpse of how beer once was.

Well I finished it, but I must say I've drunk tastier BEERS brewed with New World hops for those fruity flavours,
and they have aromas to match - this just didn't.
SWMBOd wrinkled her nose at it!
