Getting towards the end of this keg, a Belgian single cold fermented with Novalager.
Pilsener, Vienna and Munich malts with Northern brewer to bitter and Saaz late boil and hopstand.
OG was down so added some sugar which I told myself was in the spirit
of the style !

I found a bonus bottle from one of last years swaps at the back of the fridge, so apologies to the sender, ‘Hazy John’. I’m pleased to say it’s held up well; the aroma is pine and citrus, I suspect the subtle tropical notes were stronger when bottled (my bad, sorry). Great flavour, bready malts and citrus hops, love the medium to high bitterness. Mouthfeel and finish is more IPA than NEIPA. Lovely beer, thank you so much for sending it.

Cool, glad it was still tasting ok👍 I enjoyed that beer, pity I've none left.

Two different casks, same beer (OK polypins).
Both my Hoppy Pale ale of Kent.
Totally clear, but it's cold out there and the kitchen was steamy.
The one on the left is an unbroached 6L, on the right a mostly drained 12L.
There is a difference, the previously served one is a little more flavour forward. Or is it just the glass shape again?
Aarrgghh!

Quickly followed by an early QC sample of the recently casked Camden pale ale #2.
Citrus and tropical nose, straight into malty and rich hops. Bitter finish.
This could be a good one. 🍻😎
