The intention was a quick pint during the meeting. But I am not that type, 10 pints of Guinness and I am home. Glad the pub finished before me.

A couple of the trusty Cobblers Bitter (Best) followed by a Cali Common, this beer I am having doubts about, should be clear by now, I will give it a few more days before a decision is made.

Died age 40, (Poe) Brendan Behan age 41. Alcohol related? Brendan's certainly was Poe's is still a mystery.

Probably the best thing about it is the bottle!
We did the Brewery tour while visiting Brugge in November! Highly recommended!

Brugge is a beautiful city. We went for a day trip when in Brussels last year. Had plenty of zott but didn’t do the tour.
I did not quote Poe.
Don't apologise. No need. I'm pondering whether I could be a literary genius in disguise instead of some broken bloke working in the glue factory.
Many a flash of genius has come about due to glue (fumes)!
Or beer, of course.

Forgot I had this (I kegged most of the batch but had just enough for a couple of bottles) bitter made with DME and hopped with Fuggles a nice if not particularly remarkable beer.
Tiger Toms ruby mild at the Cern Abbas brewery tap room.
I did a German themed Lidl dinner and couldn’t resist his and hers festbiers. Mine is quite good, malty and sweet, I don’t get the chance to drink much German beer.
I love malty beers and this is a great example of a malty beer, it's a cracker
A cider for the better half and a Patersbier for me, it’s a never ending keg this one.

I brewed this pale ale loosely based on Sierra Nevada recipe, bittered with Northern Brewer and Cascade late in boil and dry hop.
I've also brewed this as an Amber ale which is actually more true to original SNPA although they call it a pale ale.
Either way, both are firm favourites with me.

Enjoying this new pilsner glass
The very last of this cask of Camden pale ale clone.
And this is the coffee filtered pouring!
Should be very nutritious.
It's laxative effect is yet to be determined.
Wish me luck.
Brought this back from the restaurant last night, I was in a bit of a state this morning, glad I waited until now to see off the bottle.
