Aren't they the same thing?
The ale is lazily named Equinox ( the original name for the hop), the hop is Equanot and Vic Secret so not single hop - though did start as one.
Sorry for the confusion.
Equinox had to be renamed after a bit of a tussle and is now known as Equanot.

Beautiful set up there. Are you gutted because of available supplies or social distancing?
Double Maxim. Yummy. Takes joint top spot in my favourite Brown Ale category with Sam Smith's Nut Brown.
I have a bottle put aside for you to try. Just waiting on another beer or two to be packaged in the next few days and will get them off to you next week. If you can’t wait to get started I think you’ll be happy with it but it needs a month or so for the flavours to mellow.
Please take note that I’m brewing a beer based on a recipe from @Keats , this is really his beer and if you like it, he deserves the credit. Of course, if you think it’s awful, that’s his fault too!

That was funny. How many before they aren't called samples? When will you be sure, in other words, if it has what you're looking for?
The general nervousness about COVID and the rules. I have enough beer to sink a battleship and enough ingredients to make as much again!
I just had cardamom/vanilla ice cream. Cardamom--good in Turkish coffee, not so sure about ice cream. My wife liked it though.
The supply of beer ingredients reduction is almost not noticeable here. But that's good about the beer ingredients and beer you have on-hand.
Ha! That's an easy one. Keep sampling until:
- It has conditioned. Then you're into official "drinking"
- The keg is empty, your samples were too eager during conditioning.
- You can't take any more (usually after 2 years). Tip it down the drain.

Fine selection of beersMy wife enjoyed her two Mongozo beers so I thoughtfully ordered her a dozen bottles from beer merchants. Of course, while I was already placing an order I did pop the odd bottle in the basket for me.
