Just finished the last bottle of Twisted Stout bottled in Sept 2019. Didn't know I had any left as it was in the darker recesses where Aragog lurks! Looked up my notes, which said "ok, but not worth brewing again". Well that's got scratched out straight away. A lovely drop.

Maybe change the annotation to “Needs 2-years of maturing”. 😂

Onto the homemade La Chouffe. Got to admit, it's the star of the show. 👍

On the fence here. Just brewed a black IPA that is not as dark as I would of liked. It's dark but not jet black, more like a brown/coffee colour. I added 200g of black malt at mash out.
I can either roll with it or cold steep more black malt and add it tomorrow.

Falconers flight IPA while I make my mind up 🤔

Just finished export porter from @samale . Lovely dark chocolate and coffee aroma which comes through In the flavour too. No harshness from the dark malts at all. Like a dark coffee with some chocolate👌🏼. It was well carbonated which made it really drinkable . Thanks for sharing, tasty beer

Was worried about the carbonation on this. I really enjoy the flavour.

Very interested to hear which way you go with this… would adding the liquid from cold steeped black malt change the flavour?
