Well it's all for me grog, me jolly jolly grog,
It's all for me beer and tobacco.
For I spent all me tin on the lassies drinking gin,
Far across the western ocean I must wander.

Last brew day I listened to a load of mid - late 1980's indie (Pastels, House of Love, Primals, MBV and so on) but I suspect that is a minority interest, lol.

If you want something soothing, calming. Try Voces8 - came across them the other day looking for something else, their version of Faure Pie Jesu is sublime, you can find it on utube and no I'm not a god botherer my music taste is a little eclectic, Gong nestles next to Gallicantus , Dave Gilmore and Grieg

I tend to listen to Vivaldi, Max Richter or Hans Zimmer.

Didn't know of Hans Zimmer until Planet Earth Two.I did visit the grave of Dvorak while in Prague as a lover, and playing in a brass band you will recognise this. Not just about bread.

I saw this band Polyphia the other night and it honestly felt like I was watching the next evolution of guitar music, a dazzling combination of incredible talent and originality.

Hans Zimmer is next level. His score for Interstellar is beyond good. But the man is a legend, the list of films alone shows it:

    Inception
    Gladiator
    Rain Man
    Dunkirk
    Lion King
    The Dark Knight Series
    The Last Samurai
    Pirates of the Caribbean

    An extensive list!
