I sometimes enjoy the 'creamflow' texture you get in canned draught beer with widgets fitted. Is there any way I can make my brew have the same texture? Is there some kind of small widget I can drop into the bottles before bottling?

Not aware of anything like that...

But..

A "pocket beer engine" maybe what you're after! Just get a syringe (like that from a babies medicine bottle ). Draw up a couple of ml of beer and shoot it back into your glass.

You get fine, small bubbles as the co2 gets knocked about.

think you need co2/n2o(nitrous oxide ) mix to get the affect your after but i dont think it would work in a bottle.

the widgets are inserted into the cans in an area which is under pressure to keep the contents within the widget - as soon as you open the can the pressure difference causes the release of gas which in turn gives you that texture. Unfortunately unless you have the ability to bottle under high pressure you're not going to be able to recreate the widget.
