Has the marketing gurus not tempted you to buy the new surger and more expensive surger cans ?

One of the upsides to covid was having to play golf with total strangers when the courses finally reopened. I made a lot of new friends in the process.
During one round last year, a bloke I hadn’t played with before said to me, ‘I hear you like your beer, you’ll like this’ and showed me a photo of a surger can settling out.
I showed him a photo of my kegerator with a couple of freshly poured HBs on top. His response was ‘You really do like your beer!’ He’s been over since and got to see it first hand.

After the Imperial Pilsner I’m having one of my own at 5.5%, half the strength. I have to say the Imperial Pilsner was nothing like a Pilsner and although I happily drank it I probably won’t buy another. It was syrupy, sweet, bitter, alcoholic, and had a marmalade vibe - not unpleasant but not enjoyable either. Anyway, this one is mine.

Husband poured me this which I didn’t think I liked. What I call a Sam Smith’s brigade beer. 😂 Just tastes of toffee - it’s not bad.

I was weaned on OSH but it was on tap or occasionally bottled. I don’t think I’ve ever had a can. It was quite sweet and malty so you’re probably not far off.

Ah that’s easy. The “greedy ba5tard theorem” perfectly explains this phenomenon. ;)
I see, your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Nothing so crass I believe the term you are looking for is an artisanal malt based naturally fermented beverage.
