A beautiful beer from No Frills Joe.
Double slit experiment.

What is this you are drinking?
It’s a NEIPA brewed by Jack at No Frills Joe brewery and is something of a masterpiece in my view. It’s called Double-Slit Experiment (one of the most mesmerising/mind blowing quantum mechanics experiments). Jack hosts our homebrew club meetings and a really nice guy.

If you’re not familiar with the experiment this will blow you mind or you’ve not understood it.

This is proving to be exceptionally drinkable at the moment. It's a bit more banana and less clove than the one I made 6-9 months ago, a bit fruity, and has a lovely bready flavour. It's clearing a bit much so might need to give the keg a shake - at the moment it's like if you poured one from a bottle without the yeast whereas I usually go all-in. But yeah, very pleased with this 👍🍻

I'm calling it a pale ale, you can call it IPA or NEIPA if you prefer, the lines are blurry. It's a tweaked version of the published recipe for Verdant Lightbulb but using Citra instead of Simcoe. It's ended up with a nice NEIPA-style haze which I certainly don't object to but I didn't do anything in particular to make it happen either.

"That recipe looks absolutely banging" commented @St00 in my brewday thread, and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the result. There's enough bitterness there to keep it refreshing though I wouldn't go any less. It's got a crushed pineapple thing going on that reminds me of Britvic 55 🤣
