Different news desk call different numbers, 264 is called by associated press that has already called Arizona win for Biden - it has still many votes to count but they estimated that Trump will not be bale to pull ahead - I'm not so sure, as apparently there was batch of votes (120k) and 56% were for Trump - so maybe wrong assumption there. This is going to be very close call.
I think this is more than just Biden against Trump, it more like just vote against Trump for whoever, as long as he is out we are happy.

As a straight white man, with a fairly centrist political leaning (although the Americans are convinced he’s some kind of socialist or even a communist), he was the “safe” option to get the win against Trump

If you look at the major contenders for the Democrat nomination, there’s a major element of vote losses with all of them:

• Sanders was too open to smears from the other side as a leftover from 2016, and too far left leaning to win over wavering voters
• Buttigieg is openly gay which would lose them votes, also inexperienced in National politics
• Harris is both black and female which would also lose them votes as main candidate
• Gabbard was too young, too female and represents a state outwith the mainland US
• Warren is too right-leaning
• Bloomberg had been a member of the republicans in the early 00s so falls into the same category as Warren

The RWNJ stations are littered with sex offenders, just following the lead of the serial sex offender currently in the WH, I guess. OANN has a Russian working for them as well as the major state-run TV in Russia.

Repairing and strengthening relationships with allies seems to be the least complicated item to check off the To Do list. I would think the first thing that will be done is for the US to rejoin the World instead of this isolationist thing we have going on.
