The older four members of the ‘70 family had a very successful night out in Belfast, ending up in Bert’s Jazz bar. I was very close to ordering a Sazerac, but I could tell from the look in his eye that the barman really wanted to make me a Negroni.

I love beetroot pickled, a burger isn't a burger without fried egg and beetroot.
I am starting with a best bitter tonight as this is what I brewed today.
Onto my ordinary bitter from the bag in a keg with some leftover cheese.

Drinks and food from last night in Buffalo Wild Wings, and drinks after that from World of Beer. There was also a qr code on the menu that linked to another huge selection that you could order.
Sharing a 6x with my wife. The aroma when poured is quite off putting, I guess fuggles related, but I warmed to the beer towards the end of the glass.
Another day painting. Early start on the Tribute.

My Camden (not so) pale ale clone.
It was the Munich that wasn't the light type gave it the colour.
Oohh, I needed that. So light hoppy and tasty.
Following closely on was SWMBO'DS pre-prandial glass of red.
If it's a red wine, SWMBO'D goes straight to the red for dinner.
That will be Tartiflette.
It's a 2016 Madiran bought from Calais Carrefour 2 years ago.
It throws a deposit so does need decanting, and this is my kit to do it.
I’m tucking into my Christmas beers, I got quite a few as presents from the family and wider afield. First up, a rather nice lager.
Next up for me is my KCB blend (apologies for the tautology there).
Others prefer it to the Camden.
I only slightly differ.
My Kent Golden Ale.
I wish I was as rich as this beer is.
My garden First Gold, over-the-road EKG's and Challenger bittering from Hukins of High Halden.
Did I mention that it was rich?
Yummy.
Now for that Tartiflette and Madiran.
